Data Processing and Privacy Policy of SKRIVANEK SLOVENSKO, s.r.o.

The proper processing of your personal data is very important to us and their protection is a natural part of our business , so we would like to provide you with information regarding the processing of your personal data.

Who processes your personal data?

Your personal data is processed bySKRIVANEK SLOVENSKO, s.r.o., ID: 364 09 812, with registered office at Mlynská 22, 040 01 Košice (hereinafter referred to as "Controller").

What personal data do we process about you?

The Controller processes mainly the following data about you in paper or electronic form:

For natural persons: name and surname, title,  telephone number, email address, billing information, signature, and the history of services provided or products purchased from Controller.

For legal persons: name and surname of contact persons, job title of contact persons, telephone number of contact persons, email address of contact persons, name of the company, website and email address of the company and billing information of the company.

If you are or plan to be a participant in a language course or audit carried out by the Controller, data about your language level are also processed.

For what purpose and on what legal basis do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data to the extent necessary :

1. in the performance of contracts concluded between you and Controller

  • for the purpose of identifying the other party in the conclusion, performance and termination of a contract
  • for the purpose of fulfilling the Controller’s contractual obligations under this contract

For these purposes, the provision of your personal data is entirely voluntary, but without this data  we would not be able to conclude a contract with you at all and fulfil the rights and obligations arising from it.

2. in fulfilling legal obligations arising from special regulations

  • for the purpose of complying with the basic principles of personal data processing
  • for the purpose of handling inspections, audits and requests from public authorities

3. for the purpose of the legitimate interests of the Controller

  • protection of the Controller’s property or the health of its employees
  • administration of information related to contractual relationships
  • determination, defence and exercise of any legal claims of the Controller

4. based on your consent

  • for marketing purposes – promotion of the Controller, promotion of the Controller’s products and survey of satisfaction with the Controller’s services
  • to maintain a database of providers of services or other products for the purpose of contacting them for the purpose of concluding vendor contracts in the future

The consent provided for the above purposes is entirely voluntary, but is necessary in order to inform you about new products, services, promotions with discounts relatedto products or about changes in opening hours or announced competitions related to our products. If you are our vendor, your consent to the maintenance of a database of providers is necessary in order for us to contact you in the future with a proposal to enter into a contract for interpreting, translation or other services provided by you. You may withdrawyour voluntary consent at any time. However, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

Will your personal data be shared with other recipients?

Your personal data may be disclosed to public authorities if the Controller is obliged to provide them to these authorities, toIT service providers, lawyers, auditors, archivists and other persons such as external translators or teachers who provide services to the Controller and with whom the Controller has concluded a personal data processing agreement .

When proofreading or translating from/into non-European languages, your personal data may be transmitted to a third country, provided that the conditions set out in relevant legislation are met.

In general, transmission your personal data to third countries is not expected.

If , in the performance of a contract with you as a client, the need arises to transmit your personal data to third countries, the Controller will proceed in accordance with the applicable and effective legislation and the transmission to third countries will only take place if you consent to it or if the transmission of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded in your interest. The Controller shall inform you of these circumstances before the transmission takes place.

How long will your personal data be processed for this purpose ?

Your personal data shall be retained by the Controller for the duration of your contractual relationship with the Controller and after its termination until the settlement of all obligations arising from or relating to it.

If the Controller processes your personal data on the basis of your consent, your personal data will be processed by the Controller for the duration of this consent or until you withdraw your consent .

After this period, your personal data may be processed in cases where the Controller is required to do so under special regulations.

Does the processing of your personal data involve automated decision-making, including profiling?

The processing of your personal data does not involve automated decision-making, including profiling.

What are your rights in relation to this processing?

Based on your request, you are entitled to:

  1. request access to your personal data
  2. request correction of your personal data
  3. to request deletion of your personal data
  4. request restriction of the processing of your personal data
  5. object to the processing of your personal data
  6. request the transfer of your personal data
  7. file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Hraničná 12, Bratislava.
